Are you not mixing up South Asians with East Asians here? South Asians are not known for the things you list except the extreme nepotism. Quite the opposite. Wherever they go they leave a trail of destruction behind them so great it becomes the stuff of legend. They are not the strivers you profile; nothing like it in fact.

Americans Citizens of South Asian descent do about the same as East Asians on standardized tests. They are also heavily into grind culture.

This doesn't square with Indian test scores in India.

According to the best available data (2009 PISA math): about 11M people age 22-64 in the US have at least a 120 IQ, vs. only about 28,500 in India. Their average is 22 points lower (77 vs. 98) and their s.d. is 10.8 vs. 13.68.

115 IQ (just OK for a professional) is +1.24 s.d. for the US (1 in 9.3), but +3.55 s.d. for India (1 in 5,200), so 560 times as many in the US as India per capita, or about 110 times as many people in the US as India with over 115 IQ (math).

They cheat, using ringers, forged documents, or bribed test proctors. That is the reason behind the US Indian test scores. There aren't enough high-scoring college-age applicants in all India to account for the supposed scores of the ones in the US.

Incompetent Indians take livlihoods and ability to own homes and start families from millions of vastly smarter Americans, they must be expelled back to India. Competent Indians as well, lord knows they're needed more in India than here.

Jeets are both destructive and striver-ish. Chinks are just striver-ish and possibly annoying (the more pretentious ones anyway).

Fuck those who talk about merit. I’d rather hire a white highschool drop out than a PhD pajeet!

We want DEI for white men!

Republicans then:

Affirmative action is bad. College admissions should be strictly merit based!

Republicans now:

Actually merit is bad. Colleges should consider personality and well roundedness!

I refer to a former coworker as a “Korean Redneck”. Came here as a teenager, heavy accent, he’s into hunting, fishing, camping and old pickup trucks.

“KR” has his engineering degree from a state university. In your vision of culturally specialized institutions, would he get a fair shot applying to the University of NASCAR? Or would that be reserved for Heritage Billy Bob?
